EXPERTISE : Mary Angela Miller is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 30 years of experience at Cleveland Clinic and Ohio State University Medical Center where she led nutrition and food services, serving millions of meals, all safely.
LEADER: She was elected president of the State of Ohio Dietetic Association, then as president of the National Healthcare Foodservice, and as Chair and Delegate to the Dietitians in Management Specialty Group for the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
MENTOR: She now teaches OSU students who are planning careers as healthcare heroes and guides restaurateurs in their quest to become food safety certified.
ENTREPRENEUR: Mary, also known as “MAM, the Food Safety Dietitian,” is a small business entrepreneur, founder of KeepSafe Food, offering consumers products to “Protect their Plates” for personal food safety.
ACHIEVER: She earned the singular IFMA Silver Plate awarded to the top foodservice leader in the healthcare. At the National Restaurant Association, she was selected for the Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Top Achiever Award, the first time ever given to an operator.
FUN: She loves hiking, biking, food and travel adventures. Mary serves as an ambassador for the Mediterranean Diet Roundtable, and has enjoyed ceviche in Peru, kebabs in Egypt and tasted 40 year old balsamic vinegar in an aging cellar in Tuscany. She knows firsthand that good food is safe food that tastes good and is good for you.
